Lovely heather

I bought heather to make shortbread, inspired by my recent success making lavender shortbread. Heather shortbread is lovely and about as Scottish as Scottish gets.

More than ….

It has a very good flavour for a green tea. Light, yes…. But some real middle and and just a tiny bottom tea flavour … more than the usual notes -
The first large brew was shared with 4 others and rarely have I seen arms so eagerly reaching for the pot, good colour and scent.
