Green Snail (Bi Luo Chun) green tea is a delicate and exquisite Chinese tea that is named after its unique appearance - the tightly rolled tea leaves resemble tiny green snails. The tea is produced in the Jiangsu province of China, where it is grown in high altitude mountainous regions with rich soil and a cool climate.

The tea is made from young tea leaves and buds that are hand-picked in the early spring. The leaves are then lightly oxidized and pan-fired, which gives the tea its distinctive taste and aroma. The tea is known for its delicate, floral flavor with hints of fruit and a sweet aftertaste.

To brew Green Snail green tea, start by heating water to around 75-80°C (165-175°F). Then, add 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 240 ml (8 ounces) of water. Let the tea steep for around 2-3 minutes, then strain and enjoy! For subsequent infusions, increase the steeping time slightly.

Green Snail green tea is a delicate and versatile tea that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. It is perfect for anyone who wants to experience the subtle and complex flavors of Chinese tea. It can be enjoyed hot or cold, and can be used in a variety of recipes. For example, you can use Green Snail green tea to make a refreshing iced tea, or add it to your baking for a unique flavor twist.

More than ….

It has a very good flavour for a green tea. Light, yes…. But some real middle and and just a tiny bottom tea flavour … more than the usual notes -
The first large brew was shared with 4 others and rarely have I seen arms so eagerly reaching for the pot, good colour and scent.

Lovely tea

Nice change if you like any type of green tea. Good fresh, rounded, bright flavour with a slight aniseed/ fennel taste in my opinion which adds another dimension.
